Day 27 ... moral of the story.... no fun food the day before a weigh in.



I am up a pound from last week, and that might be because I had a glorious feast on Sunday, or because I had some chips, pretzels, and homemade guacamole. Or maybe I'm growing muscle LOL


What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Half of a bagel and cream cheese, one minibon from Cinnabon
Lunch : huge cold-cut sandwich, Diet Coke and a handful of cookies.
Snack: Chips and shrimp and veggie kabobs
Dinner: Salad, chicken breast, potatoes, ice cream. Smirnoff Twisted Cranberry to drink.

Point Total: who knows?

Day 26.. one day closer to my weigh-in!

It's our month end at work, and we are crazy busy. This has felt like the longest, most draining week. But, even though sometimes I feel like I have the energy level of a three-toed sloth, I have not been slacking on my workout. I am really trying with the push ups, cause I want to get rid of my ham-like arms. Maybe someday :)

What I had to eat today:
Breakfast: Shake (5 pts)
Lunch: Chicken sub from Quizno's (7 pts)
Dinner: will be SUnway Tuna sub (8 pts)

Total: 20 points

Day 25...

I will repeat "I do not hate jumping jacks" over and over again. Perhaps then I will be able to get over my intense hatred of jumping jacks. I'm not sure what it is about jumping jacks that makes me see red, but I'm like a bull stomping at the ground when it's time to do my leaping spread-eagle.

What I consumed today :

Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)
Snack: Half of a granola bar (1.5 pts)
Lunch: Chicken Stir Fry and veggies (6 pts)
Dinner : Turkey Sub (5 pts), granola bar (3 pts)

Total: 19.5 pts

Day 24.. wacky Wednesday...

My lower back was really tight and sore when I was working out this morning, and the swimmers press was kind of uncomfortable. But, I resisted the temptation to throw in the towel, and I pressed on. My back did feel slightly better when I finished and I'm glad I didn't just give up on myself.

What I had to eat:

Breakfast: Shake (5 pts)
Lunch: Stirfried Chicken with rice and veggies (6 pts)
Snack: Granola bar (3 pts)
Dinner: Chicken sub fro Sunway (7 pts)

Total: 21 pts.

Day 23.... I love power yoga, it just doesn't love me.

I think that something is funky in my lower back, and doing power yoga made my back angry. Very angry. And has decided to make the rest of my day very uncomfortable.

Snack: Muesli (3 pts)
Lunch: Tuna Sub from Subway (8 pts)
Dinner: Chicken Sub from Subway (7 pts)

Day 22

I had a sweet workout tonight, as I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too tired to work out this morning. I was crazy busy at work as I was the only person from my team in for most of the day, and it felt like the day would never end. I really had to push myself through my workout so I didn't slack off.



Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)

Lunch: Subway Turkey Sub (5 pts), granola bar (3 pts)

Dinner: Tuna sandwich from Tim Horton's (7 pts)

Total: 20 pts.

Day 21.. cheat day.

We went to a corn roast today... I worked out, watched Corrie Street, and then we picked up the rental car. I had a quarter pounder meal from McRaunchie's. It was tasty. I had a mint blizzard from Dairy Queen, and 1 1/2 hotdogs, part of a bun, 3 pina coladas, 2 ears of corn, some salad, and some apple crisp. BUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!! It was tasty.
