Day 181 6 month weigh in and results-- down 17.5 pounds!

Well, I've done it, I've past the 6 month marker for a health and weight routine. And I'm very proud to report, I haven't thrown in the towel and given up, like I have in the past. This looks like I have finally got it together, and that this is a lifestyle routine that I can successfully do for the rest of my life! YAY for me!!



This is me when I started Power 90 in 2003. These pictures were taken on my very first day 1. As you can see, I wasn’t very happy with myself. My posture sucked, I looked sad, and I had more in common with a 3 toed sloth or a slug than a human being.



Flash forward to January 2006, and I have come along way, baby!! I now weigh 148 pounds, and look.. I’m not running from the camera!!! Check out the comparison pictures below.




Here are more recent pics below… this is since Aug 1 2005. I can’t believe it’s been 6 months!


And finally… the summary of my January 2006 pictures. I think that I really need to get a better bathing suit bottom (this one is getting to be wrinkly like an elephant). Seeing all these pics together motivates me to keep on trucking, especially when I haven’t had that significant a month for weight or inch loss.

Day 180 One day to weigh in and pictures



Wow...I have drunk 5 litres of water so far today... no wonder I slosh as I walk ;) I got up easily this morning and popped in Cardio Party 1 .. I pushed myself, because tomorrow's picture and weigh in day. No pressure, right? ;)

What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch : Wowey Maui Chicken (6 pts)
Snack: 2 Applesauce ( 2 pts)
Dinner: Berry Binge Jugo Juice (4 pts)
Total: 18 pts

Day 179 Waterlogged Blog...



Wow. I've done 4 bottles of water today.. 4 litres so far. Plus, I had a few Ikea-sized glasses as well. But those don't count, cause it wasn't a Nalgene bottle. I got up at my normal time this morning, even though I didn't have to work until noon today. I did Cardio Party 1 (I wasn't awake when I pushed Play on the DVD and didn't bother to change the DVD when it should have been Turbo Sculpt.) Had a long day at work, and I must have been asked "Heather, do you know if ...." about 80 times if it was once. Sometimes i wonder why I'm cursed with a photographic "work" memory!!! LOL

What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch : wowey Maui Chicken (6 pts)
Snack: Mandarin Oranges (2 pts)
Dinner: Turkey Sub (5 pts), 16 rice tortilla crisps (2 pts)
Dessert: Applesauce (1 pt)
Total: 19 pts

Day 178 ... new feature.. log of water intake!


New feature to the blog to help me drink water, and update my blog on a more regular basis: the water log! For each litre of water I drink, I will add a Nalgene bottle to my daily tally.

I worked out to Cardio Party 1 this morning, and it really helped me wake up. I have Ab Jam to do once I get home tonight as well.

Lunch: Chicken Sub (7 pts)

Day 177... new Prime Minister for Canadians

I slept in this morning, and didn't get to workout this morning. I did Turbo Sculpt this evening, and then had dinner. I felt a little rusty at the workout, because I hadn't done that particular routine in as least a month.

What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: 2 packages of instant oatmeal (4 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch: Chicken Sub from Subway (7 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Dinner: Soup (4 pts) and madarin oranges (2 pts)
Total: 19 pts

Day 176 .. Election Day in Canada

I am working late today, and the one thing that I had to accomplish before I went to work was to vote for prime minister today (fingers crossed for the winner) ... I woke up around 8 this morning and did Cardio Party 1, and did Ab Jam when I got home from work (mental note: no working out after 9 at night or the endorphins will keep you up all night!!)


What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Egg, cheese and english muffin (5 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch: Catfish (5 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Dinner: Wacky Teryaki (6 pts)
Total: 18 pts on the nose

Day 175 .. pajama day!!

I love pajamas. I can stay all day in pajamas. In fact, that's what I did today!! :) Rob and I had a relaxing day of chilling out and watching sweet, sweet UFC fighting. Doesn't that sound like a perfect Sunday? ;)

Breakfast: Peanut butter on english muffin (4 pts)
Lunch: Chili (7 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
