Day 216 Saturday.. monthly results update



I weighed in this morning and am at 147.5; but for the entire month, I'm down in weight. I'm still plugging away and sometimes I feel like Thomas the Tank Engine (I think I can, I think I can), and I am going to push myself to keep the momentum going. The smaller I get, the harder it is getting for me to melt the weight away, but after 4 months of very slow weight loss, my brain is finally smartening up and I am trying to push myself to break through my plateau. In the past, when I've hit a plateau, the way that I've broken the plateau is by giving up and sliding back up on the scale. I'm not going to let this happen this time, because I've worked too hard to give up now. Here's to the next month of cleaner, harder, more intense workouts!! :)

Day 215 Full of cake Friday

Good news, I didn't eat any of the 8 tonnes of cake that magically appeared at work. It was 2 of my coworkers birthdays today, so there was a mountain of cake and sweets at work this afternoon. I was glad that I had a good workout (Cardio Party) in the morning, then had my late shift at work, then came home and did Turbo Jam (sculpt) and cleaned our apartment for 3 hours.

What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Rolled oats and applesauce (4 pts)
Snack: Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch: Veggie Lasagna (5 pts)
Snack: Carrots and Dip (2 pts)
Dinner: Butternut squash soup (2 pts), toasted plain bagel (5 pts)
Total: 19 points

Day 214 'Bladder the size of a pea' Thursday

Better workout this morning, even repeated the same workout this evening (except for TH 170). I also think that I must have peed 20 times today (no exaggeration) ... does that count as an extra workout? I must have burned calories constantly buckling and unbuckling my giant belt buckle ;)


What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Rolled Oats and Applesauce (4 pts)
Snack: mandarin oranges (2 pts)
Lunch: Veggie Lasagna (5 pts), applesauce (1 pt)
Dinner: Butternut Squash soup (2 pts), half of a sesame seed Tim Horton's bagel (dipped in soup): 2.5 pts, apricots (9 of them): 2 pts
Total: 18.5 pts

Day 213 Wacky Wednesday

I was so lazy this morning... did my workout, but couldn't find my resistance bands, so I used my wimpy 2 pound hand weights. What was I thinking?? Oh I know.... I was being a lazy unmotivated sloth. The good news is, I stewed over my crappy workout while I was at work, and did Cardio Party and Cardio Party Remix when I got home from work, and then didn't end up eating until after 7:30.... so now I'll have to stay up until at least 10:30, to ensure that my food digests properly. I feel much better about this evening's workout, and I know that I have to keep up the good energy tomorrow.


What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Rolled Oats and Applesauce (4 pts), mandarin oranges (2 pts)
Lunch: Veggie Lasagna (5 pts), aaplesauce (1 pt)
Dinner: Butternut Squash soup (2 pts), half of a sesame seed Tim Horton's bagel (dipped in soup): 2.5 pts, jello (2 pts)
Total: 18.5 pts

Day 212 Terrific Tuesday

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Maybe it's the weather... maybe it's the fact that it's 80 degrees below freezing, but a part of my brain wants to coccoon myself into cozy blankies and not do anything but watch TV ;) The good thing is, I'm not doing that.. I did goof this morning when I put my workout on, because I was supposed to do Power 90 and I did Cardio Party instead... doh!!! Have to pay attention again tomorrow, and smarten up.

Snack: Apple (1 pt)
Lunch: Mission Impastable (6 pts)
Dinner: Chicken Fingers and Fries (7 pts)

Day 211 Meeting Monday....

Wow... could I have any more meetings in one day? Geez, I wonder if I was able to get any work done today, as I had to be in one meeting after another today.... LOL

I had a great sculpt workout this morning, and followed it with Cardio Party 1 this evening. It's started to snow again today, and I am starting to wonder if winter will ever end. GRRR. It's 10:30 at night right now, and I've just been blindsided by the sleepy train... I feel like I need toothpicks to prop my eyelids open so I can finish this posting.


What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Rolled oats and applesauce (4 pts)
Snack: Diet Coke (felt like some caffeine this morning)
Lunch: 6 inch chicken sub (7 pts), applesauce (1 pt)
Dinner: Sushi (6 pts)
