Day 90..... I have successfully completed Power 90!!!

Well, I did it. I finally stuck to working out and dieting properly for 3 months. Sometimes, it felt like the hardest thing in the world, and I am so proud of myself that I stuck with this, and did not roll off the wagon, like I've done in the past. It's so much easier to just stop working out, or watching what I eat, but, as I'm prone to packing pounds on and resembling Jabba the Hut quite easily, I have finally accepted the fact that I have to work hard to be healthy, but I have to do it, so I will be happier and healthier in my life. It's so easy to get depressed and down on yourself when your weight creeps up and fewer and fewer of your clothes fit anymore, but BOY, does it feel good when I can go into a store and ask the clerk for something that's a "medium". :) WAHOOOOO.. I DID IT!!!

Day 89-- 1 more day until Power 90 is complete..

Guess who slept in this morning? I did!! Till 7:30 am!! So I didn't get to work out before I had to head off to work today. DOH!

Today was a temptation no matter where I turned...the day started off with someone bringing 3 boxes of Tim Horton's Donuts and Muffins in, then someon near me ate a large burger with homemade fries for lunch, and there was the traditional Friday Beer Cart. I just kept chanting "Tomorrow is Day 90.. don't screw up!!" to myself, as a form of mantra ;)

What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)
Snack : Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch: Chef Boyardee Ravioli (7 pts)
Snack: Raisins (2 pts)
Dinner: Berry Binge Jugo Juice (4 pts)

Total: 19 pts

Day 88-- 2 more days until Power 90 is complete..

I have just had my second last day of Cardio 3-4 ;)
(insert sound that child makes while jumping off the swing from 10 feet up in the air... WWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! ) Day 90 will be my last cardio workout.

What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)
Snack : Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch: Wacky Teryaki (6 pts)
Snack: Raisins (2 pts)
Dinner: Tim Horton's Tuna Sandwich (7 pts)

Wahoo.. last Wednesday Sculpt workout!!!! (I am getting almost giddy doing my daily Blog entries, in case you hadn't noticed).

Day 86-- 4 more days until Power 90 is complete!

This is my last Tuesday of Power 90.

Last Tuesday session of Sweat 3-4 (aka Cardio Hell). I tried to push myself through the crunches, and it felt like the Alien was going to jump out of my abs after the "Bicycle" crunch section.

What I had to eat:

Breakfast: Protein Shake (5 pts)
Snack : Applesauce (1 pt)
Lunch: Wacky Teryaki (6 pts)
Snack: Raisins (2 pts)
Dinner: Crazy Plates Pizza (5 pts)

Day 85-- 5 more days until Power 90 is complete..

This is my last Monday of Power 90. Is it wrong that I am happy about that? ;) I woke up this morning when Robbie was still getting ready for work, then I dove into my Sculpt workout. I was really trying to concentrate on form, and slowing down so that I could concentrate on quality of reps, not number of reps. I couldn't get past 15 man push-ups during Max Pushups, but I am trying :)

Day 84 -- 6 days to go until Power 90 is over

For those of you paying attention, my last post was on Thursday. Well, Day 82 was my birthday (I still ate great and didn't cheat one bit), Happy 29th to me!! :) I was able to finish purchasing the items needed for my Hallowe'en costume, where I will be dressed up as Bob the Builder. Robbie is planning on going as Batman .. Adam West old-school Batman. Friday night, when he was talking on the phone, I hijacked his costume, and changed into it in the bathroom. I ran out of the bathroom dressed as a wrinkly Batman, and Robbie had to hang up on his parents because he was laughing so hard at me. LOL


Yesterday was weigh-in and cheat day (Day83). I am holding steady at 152.5 pounds, and am going to see if I can break the magical 150 barrier for day 90. Hey, I can lose 3 pounds in a week, right? ;) I did try to do max man-pushups before dinner last night, and I was able to do 15 of them. Today is Sunday, and we're heading out shortly for a rainy afternoon of movie watching. Cardio 3-4 is awaiting us this evening.

Breakfast: Cereal and milk (4 pts)
Lunch: Wendy's Grilled Chicken Sandwich (7 pts)
Snack: Raisins (2 pts)
Dinner: Subway Turkey Sub (5 pts)
