Day 20... another successful weigh in!!







I am only down 1.5 pounds, but that is still almost 10 pounds in 3 weeks..... that's a personal best for me, I'm sure!!!


What I had to eat today:

Breakfast: Shake (5 pts)

Lunch: Jugo Juice (6 pts) Berry Binge

Dinner: Spaghetti Factory.. soup and a salad with balsamic vinagrette. YUMMY.

Day 19...

So, something new happened during my workout today. Toronto was nailed with several rounds of thunderstorms (we ended up having severe flooding in some areas, and there was even a tornado or two that touched down in Fergus!!) As a result, the entire time I was doing my workout in the morning, I prayed that the power wouldn't go out. Luckily, it didn't, so I got to complete my workout as planned before work.

One of the people in our Tech Sales team brought in mini Cinnabons for our teams. I wanted one real bad, but didn't cave. So I gulped down a litre and a half of water to feel disgustingly full (hey, you gotta do whatever you can from cheating on your diet).


What I had to eat:

Breakfast: Shake (5 pts)
NO CINNABONS!!!!!
Snack: Muesli (3 pts)
Lunch: Mission Impastable (6.5 pts)
Dinner: Chicken and fries (8 pts)

Total: 21.5

Day 18.... I love cardio ;)

I went to bed last night with an upset stomach (darned Mr. Sub... I think it revolted against my stomach)... I woke up with a bit of a stomachache still, but still did my workout. I did my workout this morning in case I feel worse later, as I definitely won't want to work out later if I feel like I will vomit all over the living room floor.

What I have had to eat today:

Breakfast: Shake (5 pts)
Lunch: Mission Impastable (6.5 points)
Snack: Muesli (3 pts)
Dinner: Chicken Sub from Subway (7 pts)

Day 17: the joys of Sculpt 1-2

Around 6:15, I was awake enough to do my workout this morning. I have to remember to stand in front of the mirror during the weight segment, so I don't start hunching over like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. LOL.

Day 16... terrific Tuesday!

Today wasn't so bad, I felt pretty good when I woke up, but once I started into punching during the workout, my upper body seemed to lock up. My pecs and armpit muscles were a little tender again, but I will live ;)

Went knitting tonight.. I'm almost done the "eye" pod case!! Can't wait for the finished product.

Day 15

OW. Well, my intensity and rage fueled workout rewrded me with some sweet muscle music today. Did you know that it feels like you have muscles in your armpits? No, really, it does!! Doing my resistance-band led weight routine felt fantastic today (can you tell that I am being a wee bit sarcastic??)

Wow.. it' not even 10:30 pm and I am worn out... and it's only Monday!!! I remember when I was young and foolish, and you were really lame if you went out to the bar before 11 pm.... what were we thinking??!?!?!! Oh well, now that I'm older, and wiser, I will be a good girl and end off my post, and head off to bed. Once I have put tomorrow's lunch in containers and put the clothes in the dryer... and THEN I can go to bed ;)

Lunch: Mission Impastable-- 7 pts.
Snack: Half a granola Bar: 1.5 pts.

Day 14.... also known as "I'm going to kick the shit out of Rob during my workout"...

Ok... I guess and explanation is needed here. I was peacefully doing my workout, and I think that Rob was trying to help me, and pointed out some form errors with my technique. So what happened? I got mad. And when I got mad, I got mad during the punching and kicking segment of Power 90. I have never had so much discipline and power when I have been hitting something. I guess it was most effective when I was visualizing Rob's head between my fists.

And then my workout ended and I felt much better. I promise not to picture Rob while I am doing any form of punching or jabbing exercise.

Breakfast: Muesli and Peanut Butter - 5 points
Lunch: Roasted Chicken Sub: 7 points.
Dinner: Chicken and Fries: 8 points.

Total: 20 points.
